Our Story
Lugh Productions wasn’t born in a boardroom—it was built in packed rooms where the lights are low and the stakes are high.
We produce premium live comedy and music events across Dublin’s suburbs, from curated monthly shows to major festivals. As the team behind Comedy Club, and event series including Live in Lucan, Live in Dún Laoghaire, and Live in Swords, we’ve created a platform that consistently delivers standout live experiences to local audiences.
We also produce some of the region’s leading festivals, including the Dún Laoghaire Comedy Festival,Dalkey Comedy Festival, and Swords Comedy Festival, bringing together world-class performers and vibrant community venues.
For too long, the best comedy and music were confined to the city centre. We changed that—bringing exceptional talent directly to the communities that value it most.
We don’t just run events—we build local legacies through trusted partnerships and outstanding programming.

The Code we live by:
We aren't interested in "corporate-approved" sanitised entertainment. We believe in:
The Unfiltered Voice: If it’s funny or moving, it belongs on our stage. Period.
The Handshake Deal: In a world of 50-page contracts, we still believe your word is your bond. We show up, we do the work, and we make sure everyone wins.
Suburban Advantage: We’d rather sell out a beautiful, historic room in Dalkey or Swords than a sterile hall in the city.
